Mr. Coffee 8 Oz. coffeemaker cleaner, removes lime, calcium and other hard water deposits to improve brewing time and provide better tasting coffee, cleans better than vinegar with no unpleasant odors, for use for automatic drip and single serve coffeemakers.

This product is not for use in coffee machines that are plumbed into or connected directly to a water line. Always follow appliance manufacturer's instructions and precautions. Clean machine monthly for best performance of your coffee maker.

Single Cup Coffee Maker:

  1. Fill reservoir with water and add 1 oz. (2 tbs) of product for every 12 oz. (1-1/2 cups) water.
  2. Place a cup in the coffee maker, run one brew cycle and dump contents of the cup in the sink.
  3. Repeat until reservoir is empty, resetting the machine between cycles as necessary.
  4. Wash reservoir, if detachable, then completely fill reservoir and run brew cycles until empty, discarding rinse water. Repeat rinsing process as needed.

Drip Coffee Maker:

  1. Add 5 cups of water and 4 oz. product to the decanter.
  2. Pour entire contents of the decanter into the reservoir and place empty decanter on the hot plate of the coffee maker.
  3. Place brew basket in position, turn coffee maker on and let it empty completely into the decanter.
  4. Turn unit off, discard contents of decanter and rinse decanter and brew basket thoroughly with water. Pour a full decanter of clean water into the reservoir, turn unit on and let it run through again. Repeat rinse cycle two more times.
